The starting point
Business challenge
Product variants, orders, customers, inventory, and fulfillment had to remain synchronized between the storefront and the operational system at a scale where inconsistent identifiers or manual updates could quickly affect order handling and stock reliability.
Alexander’s role
Work and solution
Alexander worked on the Shopify Plus–Odoo architecture and synchronization scope, covering product templates, variants, SKUs, customers, orders, stock, and fulfillment. He translated commerce requirements into ERP processes and integration rules suitable for a large catalogue and recurring order volume.
What changed
Project result
The commerce front end and ERP backend were connected through defined operational data flows, enabling Odoo to support the downstream execution of Shopify transactions and catalogue operations.
Business effect
What the work made possible
Reduced duplicate handling between commerce and ERP systems, improved the consistency of catalogue and inventory data, supported dependable fulfillment, and created an operational foundation for growth in order volume and product range.
